Is it just me, or do those "above the influence" commercials make anyone else (well, except
_kyri) want to take up weed smoking out of spite? I mean, I know I'm not the target audience of that campaign, but I remember the Partnership for a Drug Free America growing up and even then, I felt like my intelligence was insulted after each one. Granted I was not a representative sample of American teenagers, which honestly on average probably as stupid as the ad campaign implies, but still, ugh... above the influence my ass. How about being above having my morals dictated by television?
In related but scary news... I'm truly frightened by the contemporary christian anthology that Time Life is pimping right now. Open the Eyes of my Heart, I think... Dude, if my heart had eyes, it would be a freakish anomoly of genetics. And neither jesus nor his daddy would be opening them.
But the question remains, what's scarier? the anthology itself or the fact that they're advertising it during WWE Smackdown?
