Mar. 22nd, 2006 06:41 amI am up way too goddamn early. Which sorta sucks, cause I'm going to be at work (ish) until past 8, the last four hours of which standing around in good shoes (ow) and schmoozing (stupid tabletop expo, bash it good).
I don't really mind. I actually like waking up with the sun. It's just rather incompatible with staying up until 2am every night (though last night I crashed at 10:30). Course today I was woken up instead by a
morlock, since he has to drive out to Stupid every other Wednesday morning for a meeting. Which I also didn't mind - he's one of three people that I will welcome being awakened by no matter what the hour, meanwhile the rest of the population will meet an immediate and most painful death. :) but it was fine... it's strange, he lives f***ing upstairs from me and I still feel like I don't see him all that much.
In other news,
anzovin
sundart and I are making some nefarious plans concerning our living spaces and the paying for such, since Raf's lease needs to be renewed in April and ours does in May. We're also exploring the idea of having anzovin and I trade up later on this year and see how we like it - he's tired of living by himself, and I would like to have a small apartment sized bolt hole for a bit. Plus his apartment's really neat for a 1 bedroom (neat as in cool, no way in hell you could describe it that way as in tidy unless C's just left). As I pointed out to her this morning not very much is going to change, as I will probably still be found parked on sydmor's couch most of the time or downstairs with C or something... but having my own space for a while is rather appealing. Specially since there's laundry in Raf's basement. So we're toying with the idea... course, the powers of lazy may triumph and nothing changes, but the idea is appealing. The moving of stuff necessary isn't so much. Even if it is just across the street and around the corner.
debating the merits of calling in late, considering if I don't that will be yet another 11 hour day added to my week. glargh. Course, I'm already up... but I'm going to massively regret it later if I do go in on time...
At any rate, high time for breakfast.
