When you say "downstairs", do you mean in your apartment/house? I walk around barefoot in my apartment, but outside? Oh, no! Not with the gunk and nastiness that's on the sidewalk. At least my floors are clean, as they should be, since I vaccuum nearly every day. **small laugh**

downstairs meaning a little bit down the block. It's Amherst, so the sidewalks are actually fairly gunkless. I wouldn't dare do that back in Brooklyn - the glass alone would be scary enough not to mention whatever all else is in the street there!
