There are few sights as beautiful as golden rays of early morning sunshine spilling through the window and across the sleeping face of someone you love. On Sunny, it brings out the brighter tones in her hair and the riot of freckles across her face, in constrast with the paleness of her skin. On the boy, it turns his skin to a lovely shade of bronze and dances off the fans of eyelashes that are almost too pretty for a guy. (Aaaand he's going to hate me for saying that. ;) ) Still, on those mornings when I have company it's my favorite thing about them.

I'm going to miss the flood of direct sunlight every morning when I move. Even if it does wake me up at ungodly hours of the morning in the process.
