Jun. 19th, 2006 12:07 pmGod yesterday was so hot and miserable. Yay summer. Blergh. Despite spending most of the day being chained to Beavis finishing the picture project and melting, it was still a reasonably good day. I spent most of it over at QT melting into
sydneycat's futon while she,
sundart and I watched Westworld, which just had this wonderful camplicious feeling of pre-star wars scifi movies - not to mention had Yul Brenner running around playing a deranged killer robot. What wasn't to love? :)
Spidey (the venus flytrap) seems to be thriving... his spot on top of the stereo gets a bit of afternoon sun, and he already seems much perkier than when we bought him, though he could stand a repotting. Hasn't caught anything just yet, which is both good and bad. I'm hoping that I can bring over the two african violets, Riff Raff the black dragon coleus and the strawbery plant to keep him company soon, as that window seems bright enough in the afternoon for flora.
I brought home some of my pictures last night and hung up Lain and Duel... Must resist temptation to go get frames... the walls, they scream to be covered... hey
morlock, didn't you have a wall scroll for me somewheres? I need to do something about the downstairs, it's getting scummy down there again.
Not much really else to report. I like having my little place... already I seem to feel a lot saner, and more inclined to get things done rather than laze around on the intarnets - the thing is there's way too much to do suddenly!
Tonight there shall be wrestling, oh yes... Next Monday, belly dance starts up again, and I'm looking feverishly foward to it. whee. but in the meantime, here's to trying to keep from melting. :)
