morlock now not having to hunt down Bryan Singer and feast gleefully upon his brain (which is what he threatened to do if it actually sucked), I actually was rather surprised by how much I liked it. Usually I don't care too much for Superman as a character - he's too much of a nice square character to interest me much. As I said to morlock on the way home, Superman's a Boy Scout. If you want angst or character depth, watch a Batman movie. (just not the last 2 before batman begins.)
This was enjoyable though. You could see that this movie was a labor of love by the amount of detail thrown in and how carefully it was made to tie in with the old 70s Christopher Reeve movies. The good ones, anyway. :) I'm looking rather forward to seeing it again tomorrow with the family.
