We arrived in Hellmira safe and sound despite a late start, road work, detours, extreme heat, dehydration, a close call with pulling off a shoulder, the conversion of rt 17 into I-86, Sunny driving in NY on a MA permit and a really unfortunate encounter with ANTS. morlock reads my LJ obviously but OMGWTFBBQ. God.
Anyway. We are here surrounded by the Sunny-clones and their sources, including one birthday girl on the cusp of majority and her boyfriend who immediately cemented his geek cred by quoting VGCats and handing me a bottle of Bawls upon being introduced. :)zadnyl made us all dinner which was fantastic (chicken, potatoes, peas, biscuits) and wow... it's really a pity C's family lives five hours away. I forgot what having dinner with them was like - I haven't laughed that hard in weeks.
I think tonight since I'm wired up, I'm going to attempt to rescue my ship tonight. And show Sunny the Leroy Jenkins video.
