My life, in nutshells
Sep. 15th, 2006 10:33 amWork - called the theater last night looking for some phone number because I thought I'd swap out my Saturday shift with someone. Didn't get them, but got called back by one of the managers five minutes later, and she was like ZOMG it's so busy here can you come in for the 7pm?" Which was fine, I had nothing else to do last night and once I was able to organize some pants from C (as I'd shown up to Job #1 in green). I called her back and was like sure, I'll come in for 3 hours.
Ha ha, the place was DEAD for my entire shift. Dead. Oh well, I got to work with C for a while. :)
Wedding - Invites are going out this weekend, provided I get a minute to print these stupid envelopes with folk's addresses on. We are officially in crunch mode and I have to very carefully not freak the hell out about the lack of time between now and then.
Health - cold seems to be gone. Warcrack is doing nothing for the sleep deprivation, but that's ok for now. Currently bleeding, which makes me and my digestion unhappy. In terms of the brainmeat, obviously with everything going on, anxiety's at an all time high. Need to remember to ground and center often. Amazingly, Warcrack does help with this.
Legos - Chimneys added, second floor done, first floor working on. After touring a restored genuine Victorian yesterday on a work appointment (if anyone's in Northampton, I'm talking about the mauve and white house with the porches a go-go on Old South Street) I'm thinking of doing something to make it more exciting - it's way too symmetrical right now (especially in the back.) and victorians tended to have all sorts of funny shapes sticking out of them at odd angles here and there. So may drastically redesign the whole back and take some stuff out. At this rate, you could probably hide a family of sixteen in this house if you scaled it to actual size.
Lost - Season 2, They've just found Henry Gale and he and Sayid have had their touching romantic love scene in the armory. (aka, I've forgotten what episode number we're on.)
Other Television
morlock keeps exposing me to, damn him - House is fun. There is Avatar tonight and Studio 60 next Monday.
Belly Dance - starts next monday. Shit, I still need to register.
Warcrack - Our party's on icecrown now, and my druid's at level 8 or 9 I think. Finally learned how to target effectively with the keyboard, as clicking turned out to be way too much for me, especially when four angry things are beating up the mage and I somehow ended up being the party band-aid. Now have to figure out where to buy phials so I can make this crapton of herbs I've been gathering and lugging around into potions, then wait until my account converts so I can actually hand them out to people.
morlock's character looks and behaves like Luigi. Complete with fireballs. ;) Seriously, every time he jumps I make the Super Mario noise. Most of the time just to myself, but often times out loud.
YPP - still managing to come back, deposit my money, distill a bit, and navigate with the navy some. Hopefully by the time poeple get resubscribed and stuff I'll have a few of the inter-arch routes memorized.

Date: 2006-09-15 02:43 pm (UTC)Later in the game there are Mario/Luigi references between two NPC brothers. Phials can be bought from any alchemy supplier (usually right next to the trainer in major cities).
