Another idle thought

kjpepperSo yeah. remember how I was all like F this, I'm dreading my hair? yeah, so for the past few weeks I have been. Basically what I did is I gridded up my head and made twists, and then just let them be. Occasionally I'd take all the twists out and leave it for a couple of days (each twist = two dreads) and then twist em back up again. (makes a great thing to do on the bus). Wash, repeat.
So they're progressing rather nicely. I'm still a bit grompy by how short my hair actually ends up (right now it's all about chin length) but that's okay. Hair grows.
So here's my though. I want to do something with my hair for the wedding and it's been an ass long time since I did the yarn. I do have a skein of soft fluffy purple yarn that will match my outfit... somewhere. ;) I'm thinking of just doing the same thing I've been doing only with the yarn this time, but this coming week is going to be nuts so I don't know if I'll have the time or the energy to actually do it.
