Thanksgiving
Nov. 24th, 2006 04:35 pm9-12: Macy's parade on NBC. Al Roker remains a doofus.
1:15 - 5: You would think people would stay home and watch football on a dreary rainy thanksgiving, but no. They apparently go to the movies.
6-9:30: morlock cooks a mess of deep fried chicken wings with fries for dinner. So incredibly yummy. Much warcrack is had.
Despite having to go to work and forgetting to call my folks (whoops) a good day was had, some reflection was done, and much with the girding of the loins against the Christmas onslaught. Which I'm both looking forward to and not, but that's for another post.
This place really does become something of a ghost town during holidays. It's actually quiet at night without the drunken hilarity of college students.
I'm ready for snow. Not just a flake or two either, I want a great big noreaster to dump boatloads over the Valley. Ain't gonna happen of course, but a girl can wish.
Gotta eat lunch/dinner and get a move on. Closing at the theater tonight. Blech.
