My Valentinr - kjpepper Oh looky here a bandwagon. Well, since I'm on it, send me a valentine or I will eat your babies, sentence your computers to execution by magnet and static electricity, and/or pee on your game console(s) and/or cat. Whichever apply.

Today was actually pretty good. Actually the last 28 or so hours were quite excellent, which was grand because my GOD. It has dawned on me that last week was probably THE worst depressive funk that I've had in about five years or so. I mean, I'm still shaking off chunks of it around the edges, but it is better now, if not completely gone. But yeesh. Lets not repeat that anytime soon. Last night was spent planning for Secret Level and enjoying the fact that [livejournal.com profile] morlock wants my EPEEN even though there's no sound. Can't say I blame him as Warcraft looks so gosh darn PRETTEH with all the video settings shoved all the way up. I mean DAMN. Anyway, a lovely evening was had planning and warcracking and some long hard... well, there really is no other word than snuggling unfortunately. There really has got to be a better word out there for it, as using the verb "to snuggle" kinda makes me want to vomit. *checks thesaurus* blast, not really. Yeesh. ANYWAYS. Much of that was had. It is beyond good to have him back.

I did manage to pull off Imbolc dinner with the fam, and if I could figure out where my phone was I'd post the picture of my table centerpiecefeaturing a sample of the many candles I gleefully lit. I was rather tired afterwards and not very hungry (for some reason that happens when I cook a big dinner, my appetite goes straight out the window) and we did some discussing of teh moving this summer into a collective house. To which I say yes please. It's weird being married to [livejournal.com profile] sundart and having all my stuff over here, and damn it, I'd love to have [livejournal.com profile] morlock under the same roof. It doesn't count if theres a deadbolt and a flight of stairs in between. And then right after dinner we moved into the living room to chat more and to watch as the Valley got its first significant bit of snowfall this winter. There is actual road hazarding accumulation out there, which makes me VERY happy.

As if my day weren't long enough, the reason why I am rather wide awake at this hour is because tonight's Rewind was Braveheart, which I went to see with [livejournal.com profile] inle_rah. I'd actually never seen it before and considering how tired I was after dinner I rather fully expected to be asleep halfway through it but to my surprise my attention was riveted for the entire movie. It was a lot less bloody than I was expecting (Pan's Labyrinth was actually a crapton worse just by merit of the stitches alone) But I suppose for 12 years ago that was the ulitmate in gory. That or I'm just jaded.

I should probably go to bed though. For a day off it was a big day, and damn I'm wrung out.
