kjpepperNote to self: Good Japanese food tends to relieve 95% of the symptoms of Depressive Funk. I'll have to remember that. I was really off today and a trip to Arigato Sushi definitely made me feel better. Though that brings me to second note to self - 2 rolls, maybe 3, and a bowl of miso is PLENTY. I think the only reason I even made it through half my bowl of yaki soba was because I didn't want to make my horribly sweet server think I didn't like it. Ah well. That's what doggie bags are for. Also I envy the Japanese their obviously well toned adductor pollicis muscles. Mine hurt like hell on the left side, but seeing as I refuse to wimp out and ask for a fork on general principle, I've got no one to blame but myself.

chirping_monkey found for us and it is beautiful and sunny and nice. A wee bit out of the way of everything, but all that means is I have a real excuse to pull out Bellenoire and really have an ass of steel by summer's end. (and *cough* get my license...) We all put in applications, here's hoping.
I must say, Pixar is evil, and I only say that because ever since Cars I actually tend to pay attention when NASCAR happens to be on the TV. Not that I care about the races or nothing, I mostly just watch it for the advertising hell and the interesting, frenetic ballet of the pit stops. 6 men. 1 car. Four tires in, four tires out. 15 or less seconds. It's vaguely insectoid, all that activity in that small of a space at that speed, and I'm pretty amazed that no one gets crushed or run over in the process. Argh. Monster Trucks, WWE and now NASCAR? I'm starting to wonder if I was a redneck male in a former life.
...that would be goddamn funny.
I am out of underwear again. Feh. I really don't want to have to haul my ass to the Laundry Club tomorrow. :( Even if there is pinball.
