Lord, neckties are bloody hard to get tied. Took me fifteen minutes of swearing and several web sites to get it right.

So tonight is the Blues Brothers at Cinemark, and I'm a bit excited about this. I have even purchased a new hat for the collection just for the occasion. Well, sorta. The thing is I was in Faces yesterday and randomly plopped a black fedora onto my head and it fit my big ass head so perfectly that I persuaded Sunny to let me buy it for the movie tonight. And once one has a really good hat, the rest just sorta falls into place. I have a white dress shirt, a dark patterned tie (alas, not a black one, being somewhat limited to the options in J's closet) and before diner tonight I will stop back at the bolthole to collect black pants and my sunglasses.

The thing that kinda makes me the happiest is my blazer though. This morning I rememebered that in among the detritus resulting from Barb cleaning out V's old office was a crapton of her dry cleaning, among which was at least three or four business suits in roughtly slightly too big for me. So I asked Angelgrrl and D.Lo if I could borrow a blazer for tonight, and when I explained why, D.Lo was like "well clearly you need to borrow one!" Which is both funny and touching 'cause I'm pretty sure V would have said the same thing. So thanks to V, tonight, I'm on a mission from Gahd. Properly attired.

I hope Lysscat or Cassie will be working at the diner tonight so C and I can order dry white toast and four fried chickens. :)
