The good:

the aforementioned foliage moment this afternoon. Wow.
Finding a composition notebook and some music staff paper. Hello geometric meditation exercises.
Finally nailing a mix after two days of not getting it quite right (will post four CD setlist later)
Naps are wonderful things.
getting to ride around in Bosslady's monster truck. Did I mention my truck fetish? How about in the past twenty four hours?

The bad:

Pinchy shoes for work related meeting. Yow.
Looking up at the shelf above my desk at work to see that the back wheels of my 1985 Hess truck that lives there with four others looked a little off. Further inspection revealed that the carriage holding the back wheels was completely broken, and a chunk of the actual truck part had cracked off. Looks like someone dropped it, most likely the cleaning crew. Am pissed. Of course they have to drop the really really old one . . . going to have to bring it home and see if I can perform some emergency surgery.
Restrung and tuned my violin finally, but there is now a small dowel rattling about in the body of the instrument. This concerns me. I will have to go down to Downtown Sounds and see if they know anyone who can take a look at it and figure out where this dowel came from.
I think Teapot is trying to poison the town of Northampton. The last four times we've ordered from there we all got wicked sick, and today and yesterday was no exception.
Strange blackout this afternoon, killing my conversation with timarok and forcing me to retire grumpily to my room with a Tintin comic until the electric came back on half an hour later. We have got to get a non cordless phone. And while we're at it, a new battery for this one.
nose still annoyingly stuffy. Going to take some sudafed before bed.

Overall today was . . . okay. :)
