There is something really fucking beautiful about an early morning fog, as if something lies waiting to emerge from behind it. Plus it gives the world this magical surreal quality, especially when combined with the sparkly droplets of dew on the grass. Diamonds shining through the sheerest chiffon...

I saw that beautiful white fog when I brought Otto to the garage this morning. It was all I could see beyond the little beach in Ludlow -- just a white veil hiding the water. It was the same when I went over the bridge just before exit 4 on the pike -- white mist, under which I knew there was water, even though I couldn't see it.

When I came home, I almost commemorated it in a post of my own. Instead, I read yours and went back to bed. ;)
