Here's a question...
Sep. 16th, 2007 11:57 pmIf you were for some reason granted access to the Dreaming's library, what would you look for?
(For those of you who haven't read The Sandman comics imagine a library where you could find every story or book ever concieved of, but not necessarily ever written.)
I think my first order of business would be to find the sequels to Octavia Butler's Fledgling, cause it's pretty clear she was planning at least one. Maybe just for shits and giggles find the sixty gazillion books that would constitute the Babysitters' Club's high school and college years (considering it took like, what, 150 just to get them through the eighth grade?). There would probably be a whole shelf of varying versions of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (which incidentally I still need to actually read) ranging from crap to fantastic... I'd find a stack of all of my favorite books translated stunningly to graphic novel format simply so I can bring them home and share them with
morlock. And to round it up, I'd find the collected works of DJ Wolfgang, because I totally think Mozart would totally blow Paul Oakenfold out of the water if you introduced him to a sequencer. Yeah, I know, that's not a book, but no one said Dream's library didn't have music too.
