Yes, me pretties, it is finally OCTOBER. YAY. Time for an entire month of autumn halloweeny fun! Leaves! Pumpkins! Pomegranates! Cider! Candy Corn! (yes, I actually like the stuff but I will only eat it in October out of principle.) MY BIRTHDAY! PRACTICALLY EVERYONE ELSE I KNOW'S BIRTHDAY! Yeah. I'm a wee bit giddy.
This weekend was my last totally free weekend for a while and I am somewhat ashamed to say that I mostly squandered it. Oh well. The next few have birthdays, the Friday Night Rewind, 2 weddings, a trip to six flags (though that's happening on a weekday), and Pagan Pride Day all happening. Yeesh. Not to mention I have to scrape together some monies and buy up some cool halloweeny stuff. I am both intimidated and excited.
I did get a little bit done this weekend, so it wasn't a total loss. Some of the chores got done, I did manage to find a good, fairly cheap headset for WoW Voice Chat purposes, and some quality reconnection time was had with
sundart, mostly over breakfast and rot-yer-brain TV. And by that I mean ODing on Law and Order Criminal Intent. (Goddess bless USA. The network, not the country.) We also watched a few silly things throughout the weekend as well. Like that new show on CBS, Moonlight, which was rather fantastically, hilariously awful (if you haven't heard about it, it's about a tall dark and handsome vampire private investigator in Los Angeles. It's pretty Kindred, the Embarrassed), but I think we're gonna keep watching it cause the two leads are hot and it's really cute how seriously the show is trying to take itself. *pats show on head*
Did i mention IT'S OCTOBER??? Resolutions for this month:
1) Don't get plague.
2) try not to get eaten by either to-do list or Warcraft. So easy to do either.
3) Profit.
And now it's bedtime. HAPPY OCTOBER!!! :)
