More October squee

kjpepperSo the weirdest thing happens to me. From November 1st until September 30 candy corn is the nastiest scheisse ever to grace the earth. I mean, it's caramelized HFCS in its pure unadulturated evil, other than the addtion of a little red #40 and yellow #5, right?
October 1st? Yeah, I'm craving this crap like a muffka. It's not even so much the taste, really, but the look and the smell of the stuff that I just want to be next to all during October.
May have to stop at CVS or Target and buy a bag tonight...
