kjpeppera) looks like my sister's lawsuit is going to end favorably. The jury is debating a question that indicates they have found the Garden and Thomas guilty on the harassment charge already. SHE WON...mostly!
b) Eastern Promises... oh my. Such a good movie. Other than my one accent quibble (Would Russian accents really sound exactly the same in England as they do in America?) and one unexpected bit of hilarity when a character sounds like he's declaring allegiance and service to the Barrayaran Emperor (the word Vor is forever funny if you've read any Lois McMaster Bujold) it was quite excellent. Viggo Mortenson in an Armani suit and an accent didn't hurt none either. :9
Can I have a Vincent Cassel movie where he's not playing i) a bumbling idiot ii) an asshole iii) a total crackhead iv) all of the above? I mean, it's starting to get so I need to coalesce a Rule similar to the Jeremy Irons Rule, which is that Jeremy Irons movies have to include one, probably two of the following: 1) snarling 2) stomping around in a dress (the robes he was wearing in Dungeons & Dragons count) and/or 3) having kinky sex.
c) IT IS STILL OCTOBER. And I bought candy corn. There is now a picture of me with candy corn fangs on the house bulletin board. All is right with the world.
