kjpepperYesterday was October 24th.
It was UN Day. UNIS being UNIS, we got this as a school holiday.
It was the birthday of Mary Elizabeth, who kept us all so sparklingly entertained during her freshman and sophomore years at Smith and as a member of the MSFC. She had to pull out from Smith after that due to her declining health, and she passed away a few years ago. I still have a box of pictures of her horsing around with us somewhere. She had the best smile.
It was the day my mother passed away three years ago.
Needless to say, day full of being weirdly emo. Though we did catch a show of Elizabeth the GoldenCorset Age. PRETTEH.
