Okay. Christmas is now allowed to happen.

ZOMG I hate the House sometimes. It took three tries, three locations and a near nervous breakdown to find the box of tree ornaments this morning. But they were found, the tree is now done, and it is wonderous and gaudy and beautiful and all kinds of mean nasty ugly things. :D

My favorite ornament evar. This was my mother's ornament, given to her when she was very very young. Christmas, as far as I'm concerned, doesn't start without some Hickory Dickory Dock. Hence the icon.


Another wicked old ornament from my mom's childhood... there are actually three of these ancient ladies on the tree, all in various degrees of decrepitude, but I like them. and am glad to see them every year.



Someone gave me this angel as a present when I was a kid. She doesn't really hang well, so I just sorta tucked her into a corner of the tree and let her be shy.


So much crap to do left... cooking... baking... cleaning... But at least the tree's done. :) And I now has an icon.
