Maybe I do need Visio or something after all. Just for shits and giggles I decided to doodle out the bizarre 'ohana we're working on... The loose W that comprises the core five people of the Amoeba is usually just at the upper limit of people's ability to handle relationship complexity then there's adding the valence electron that is lostcircuit (though she seems to have picked an atom to bond to finally)... and finally adding various links, potential and realized, to the Spartans... and well, shit. In the best possible way sort of oh, shit though.

No. I don't need Visio. You know what I need? one of those plastic molecule sets you get to play with in high school chemistry class. I got sent to detention once because I spent an entire class period not paying attention to the lesson in favor of seeing how big of a buckyball I could make...

I wonder if anyone else has ever tried to explain polyamory by way of organic chemistry. I also wonder what sort of molecule we'd wind up if I actually did have one of those sets...

Why not? Good explanation to me!

AND you could all give each other jewelry that would represent such a complex relationship, too!

It's all coming together ...

I was a Bio major. I had to take quite a bit of O Chem. I never tried to explain polyamory using my models, but I did once compare an orgy with a Lewis Structure.
