Got my permit. Argh. Really I do not understand why you can't call up the damn RMV and be all like "hi, I lost my wallet, please mail me a new one?" I mean, that's what I did with my ID. *huff * thank goodness for the boys - both offered to make the chore of going out there easier to deal with, which was quite welcome, as it was disgusting and wintery outside.
There are several things I would like to do once the licensing is achieved and at least one VERY good incentive to do so fairly quickly, but two of the interesting ones is that being carred will make getting back into some sort of physical training easier. Not just the belly dance, though that is quite important to me, but I'm thinking of also investigating my options in terms of picking up a martial art finally, and am rather strongly leaning towards checking out Kicks and Sticks over in Easthampton as they train in Modern Arnis (yay Filipino stick fighting) as well as a dash of just about everything else you'd need to know about how to disarm and disable someone. The idea of knowing how to both dance and fight with a cane is really intriguing to me right now...
