Baths are wonderful things and i need to take them more often. My shoulders, while still fucked up, have eased up a little. I think the rest of the night I'm going to put on my flannel PJs and spend it huddled under a crapton of blankets watching American Gladiators and RAW.

Yes, shut up. I shower.

The other reason why baths are wonderful things... if you start scalding, you usually have just enough time to get through a reasonably sized kids book cover to cover just as the water's getting cold.** On [livejournal.com profile] sundart's and [livejournal.com profile] bluewindkitsune's recommendations I just read Bruce Coville's Jeremy Thatcher, Dragon Hatcher for the first time and loved every page. Thank you guys.

**This said with the caveat that I read about three times as fast as normal people.

I love reading books in the bathtub!

But usually, I spend so much time in the warm, that when I cover up under a blanket, I'm out in about two seconds.

I heart that book so very, very much! Did you cry too?

Aw, I miss that book! Now I'm going to have to find a copy to replace my missing childhood version. I read it so often it was dog-eared.

Say, I never really did say "Hi!" I followed you from Retsuko's journal. I don't write much at all on LJ but I do pop in to read. So - belated hi!
