I had the three people I'm tied the closest to in my living room with me for the first time tonight. It wasn't easy by any measure, and there were a couple of points where you could cut the awkward into cubes and serve them on crackers with cute little colored toothpicks stuck through the top. But still... to have them all in arm's reach at once, even for only a little while... that was something.

And now, against my better judgement, I'm going to curl up and read the last trade of Strangers In Paradise. I'd best find the kleenex.
