Yay yummy yummy anniversary! I'm feeling deliciously loved and relaxed...

[livejournal.com profile] sundart had planned and prepared a fabulous evening of Andee-spoilage, but before I met up with her at the mall I made a stop at Thornes and gathered up seven gorgeous roses - three red, three yellow, and one this perfect shade of peachy orange - and a cuuuute card to go with them. :) Thus armed, I headed to the mall where [livejournal.com profile] sundart slaved away in the box office, and I gave her the flowers. I love watching that girl's face light up.

First up on the [livejournal.com profile] sundart's superbatshit anniversary mayhem tour was going to see the Matrix Revolutions. I'm not going to post spoilers, but I did like it - I though they did a good job of tying up the threads they left dangling at the end of Reloaded, though I did notice the occasional plot hole or inconsistancy here and there. There were a couple of good, gaspworthy plot twists, several good fight scenes, some interesting food for thought in terms of overarching concepts and damn but Jada Pinkett Smith is nothing if not hot hot hot. Really hot.

Anyway, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Next stop was back to Northampton, where we went to the really really good Japanese restaurant out of the five already here - hooray for Osaka! And yay for hibachi chefs that do eyepoppingly cool things - especially when they involve juggling 3 eggs, catching one in a shirt pocket, catching another in their hat, then spinning the third around and around on the grill, scooping it up with a spatula, tossing it into the air a few times, and on the last toss turning the spatula so that when the egg came down the edge of the spatula neatly cut the shell in half. My jaw dropped. He did some other cool things, like catching other things in his hat, and neatly tossing a bit of the egg he was scrambling directly into my mouth (yummy). He also must have noticed the bouquet [livejournal.com profile] sundart had by her plate, for at one point he got all of the rice he was frying into the shape of a heart on the grill, colored it in with soy sauce, then slid his spatula underneath it and made it "beat."

Oh yeah, the food was yummy too. :)

Stop 3, after a few moments at home to drop our shit was East Heaven Hot Tubs, for a nice long hour of boiling human noodles.

I'm feeling thoroughly spoiled, did I mention? :)

In other news I bought a large battery charger for the house at Radio Shack today, and had to regretfully talk myself out of buying some really fucking yummy boots this afternoon - mid calf length, black waterproof leather lace up quasi granny boots, with a 1 inch block heel and which look droolworthily hot on my narrow little feet. These are, I tell you, the perfect footwear for going to Haven and flailing enthusiastically about. Unfortunately they're in the triple digits... but I may have to find a way to get me some of that anyway. Mommy, but did they look good.

And now I need something sweet and nummy to restore my energy. But what a fabulous evening... and more delights to follow around five thirty tomorrow evening... :)

Did I mention that I love love love love love looooooooooove [livejournal.com profile] sundart? :)
