Today's going to busy. Work, Dr's appointment (seeing the hematologist today for my ~~sentencing~~ long term prognosis), moar work, out early to meet anangelssilence and Kaylee at the bus stop. Alas no sixswordsamurai this weekend, boo, but I do indeed get a baby to play with and munch on, and her mother to spoil.
Still deciding whether to thank or kill athene for introducing me to remember the milk. Going to be playing with that at least until tomorrow in the name of Organizing My Life and Getting Things Done.
It's BEAUTIFUL out. After I type this it will be time to stand on my desk and wrestle my office window open. Leeeeeeeeeeet the sunshine, leeeeeeeeeeeet the sunshine in, the suuuuuuuuuuuushine iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiin. That and the smell of curry and chicken. So begins the season of being tortured by the very fact of working next to a really good Indian restaurant.
I have decided if I can find a bit of time this weekend, to give in to an incredibly girly indulgence and go get a professional manicure for the first time in like a decade and a half. My nails are finally all uniformly too long and not brittle so I figure its a good time to just do it. Nothing crazy, like i'm not getting acrylics or anything scary, but something pretty with a little bit of detailing will be quite yummy. Of course, now that I've written and posted this, I'm probably going to break or split one today. Watch.
Hmm. I need to find a non-ginseng alternative to NOS, I think. Again feeling the weight of Too Much To Do and need the energy and focus to at least get some of it accomplished. Blargh.
