When people remark on how "dressed up" and "nice" I look on certain days (today, I'm wearing a bright purple fishnet top under a crushed velvet spaghetti strap dress + makeup... pretty much goth drag) I like to tell them that the "occasion" is a severe need to do laundry. It's true about 75% of the time. It's not true today.
