agh stop it
Apr. 24th, 2008 07:35 amThis is the third morning this week where I've woken up with the Subway "five dolla footlong" jingle in my head. I am full of teh hatred. I mean, it's catchy and annoying and the commercials are wicked sily. And kinda wrong when you thinK "wait, a cute Asian girl really shouldn't be anywhere near a commercial saying "five dolla footlong." Ever.
In commercials I like news, I'm currently enamoured of 2 ATT/ex-cingular commercials currently running - one being the one with Meat Loaf, and the other featuring the dad knocking on car windows at the local Inspiration Point because he didn't get the TM that his daughter was actually over at a firends house. "And because I didn't get the message, by tomorrow you're going to be the girl with the crazy dad that no one wants to date." *cackle*
Personally I'm hoping they bring back the Sobe Energy Coollatta commercials from last year (see icon). Those were _awesome._

Date: 2008-04-24 09:44 pm (UTC)But the funniest commercial lately is unintentional: it's that Volvo one showing off the "heartbeat detector" on the key fob, where a young woman is walking to her car and the keyfob warns her that the Guy In The Back Seat is lying in wait for her, and she dashes away. Urban legends lead to safety features! It amused the hell out of my folklore professor.
