okay remember how earlier today I set off to dig up some motivation?

Yeah.

12:00 - out the door. Waiting for bus.

12:30 - visiting

morlock at work for a few minutes. It's always fun watching him... be helpful. Seriously it's more fun that it sounds.

1:00 - walking back from HoJo's to Mall. Stop to pick up some letters that have fallen off the Cinemark marquee.

1:30 - leaving Target. Quest for new pants is fail, however did score a cute knee length pinstripe skirt. Also picked up replacement ammo for the Nerf TV guns, a couple of Chaotic decks, and omega 3 capsules, since a few folk in the house take them.

1:45 - leaving Steve and Barry's. Two cute girly T-shirts are now belong to me.

1:50 - leaving X9 Games with two more chaotic boosters. Note to self, Chaotic cards are a wee bit cheaper there than at Target.

1:55 - Stopping by Cinemark. Returning rescued letters.

2:10 - on bus back to Northampton.

2:30 - Arrive home to find everyone else is out. drop stuff and finish up the dishes I should have done two days ago.

3:10 - finish dishes, including the broiler pan sydneycat kept saying she was gonna wash.

3:35 - break for snack and pills. Go watch DVRed Best Week Ever.

3:55 - am surprised by a visit from

extrajoker, who comes bearing a book full of those Poetry In Motion poems they've been hanging up in the subway since I was a kid. Wonder if "We Real Cool" is in there. I liked that one so much that I memorized it one day between Atlantic avenue and Canal Street on the way to school.

Note to self - poke around the internet and see if anyone has collected those DECISION comic strips they'd hang in the subway to promote condom use and HIV awareness... I loved those things.

4:30 - Proceeded to utterly lose my mind cleaning for the next three hours. Washed all the surfaces in the kitchen. Wiped down all the appliances. Scrubbed the stove. Cleaned the bathroom. Swept the bathroom, kitchen, stairs and hallways. Vacuumed not only all of the carpet to be found on the first floor (including the much neglected recycling area) butall of the couch upholstery as well. Took the vacuum outside and cleaned out the filters and the dirt can, coating myself with yellow dust. ran vinegar and water through the coffee maker. Folded all the living room blankets. Reloaded one of the two Nerf guns (the other is missing). Was very glad no one was around to hear me yelping about the cramp that spontaneously developed in my arch. Ow.

7:26 - collapsed in front of the interrupted playback of Best Week Ever, wondering what the fuck had possessed me.

Well. I won't be able to bitch about having gotten nothing done this weekend...
