Either having another cup of coffee in the evening actually helps, or I'm getting better at making managable to-do lists as opposed to the kind that look like "clean entire house, withdraw all troops from Iraq, cure cancer, learn ancient latin, perfect teleportation machine and write the Great American Novel, all before America's Got Talent comes on." But no, I had ten reasonable things on my plate for tonight and so far all but two are done. Of the two that are left, one is actually technically done (i did "look for my earhooks" after all. I didn't say "find my earhooks."), and since the other is pretty much my bedtime shower and teeth scouring, I think tonight may be a 12 for 12. I feel oddly accomplished - it's been a little bit since I was able to actually complete a to-do list I set for myself.

I suppose the question remains... can lightning strike twice? can I do this again tomorrow? Maybe if I keep assigning myself little tasks/chores to do every day, things would actually get done... it is nice being able to go to bed knowing you accomplished what you said you were going to do that evening. I should do that more, i think...

Things just seem to be looking up across the board. I'm wary of the longevity of this trend, but in the meantime, I'm riding the temporary clarity and stability offered me to get as much done as possible before I have to find another thing to cling to/stand on. Hey, one has to start from somewhere.

I should take that shower before I fall asleep and not finish after all, lol.

oh...apparently I missed that one.

I was in the language section of B&N the other day. They had books on Latin, but none on Esperanto.
