As always with these sorts of lists I find myself wondering what the hell kind of criteria they were using for "New Classic" as I disagree with half of the choices above and could easily replace them with 50 better movies (in my opinion anyway) ...

I agree 100% about "Jerry Maguire". I think it's one of the most overrated movies to come out of Hollywood.

I really don't get what people see in that movie. Plus all three leads annoy the snot out of me.

But ... it's so ROMANTIC! He had her at hello! She completes him!

I can't believe the same man wrote "Fast Times at Ridgemont High," "Say Anything," and "Singles." "Maguire" was the movie where Cameron Crowe's brain got eaten by aliens from Planet Rewrite. He fought them bravely and managed to come out with "Almost Famous," which was good again, but even that movie ended 4 times before it ended. The aliens fought back, and everything Cameron's done since then has sucked worse.
