I got at least eight hours of sleep last night... and I still feel really wiped out. The strange thing is that I can sort of now feel that it's less a physical tired and more of an emotional/mental/spiritual one. I've been really down the past week, just sort of feeling various weights and pressures on me and wondering if it would just be easier to lose structural integrity and implode. And then I snap out of it. I'm pretty sure it's PMS related - this has been one of the worst PMS jags I've been on in a very long while - so I'm hoping that aspect of it will start lifting today. That and I sort of need a vacation from everything. Swap lives with someone else for a while, maybe. *small smile* But seriously, need to find some way out of it, at least enough to get things done other than sleeping, working out and watching TV. Much as kittikattie was saying in her journal, a good sign that I'm depressed is that nothing gets created other than a mess. Truth.
I accidentally bought coffee creamer that was sugar free rather than fat free, and after reading the ingredients, decided that it may be a fortuitous accident, as the sweetner replacement in question is sucralose and not asparsuck. I actually like splenda, and would probably use it more were I not generally against fake sugar (which more and more is including HFCS - jesus, that shit really is in everything!) At any rate, considering my worst sugar offense right now involve pouring it into coffee, this might actually help with that.
Note to self... maybe get some harmony springs cola again. that was good stuff. Or Canadian/kosher Coke.
and now, breakfast.
