Manic Monday
Nov. 24th, 2003 06:16 pmToday was a little on the insane side, but mostly okay. Bosslady's dad's in town so she took him and the rest of us out to lunch at Sylvester's. That place is yummy, it's a pity they close at 3, cause otherwise I'd eat there more.
Called ahead to check on my appointment at Smith Counseling services. Glad I did, it turned out to be at 3 instead of 3:30. Ladies and germs, it is possible to get from Market Street to the ass end of Paradise Road in ten minutes, whilst contending with unobservant pedestrians, parking SUVs, and maddeningly timed red lights. I felt a bit like I was playing Paperboy at one point. And biking in a skirt no less (I was kinda gothypunk and cute today). I still have the slight asthma problem to prove its possibility. *cough*
Interview went well. They're going to waive the therapy requirement for me. Go me for proving meself sane for the suits. I've got a meeting with the Senior Dean on Wednesday morning. Man, I hate bureaucracy.
Picked up the major component of
birkwelch's now quite late birthday present. It came out far prettier than I expected. Will probably pick up the rest of it tomorrow evening sometime.
Came home tired from biking an insane amount at insane speeds, tired and kinda coughy. was lucky to catch a very pretty sunset out of the windows in the study. Took a picture. Am now admiring the perfect clarity of tonight. chatted with
timarok a little before he went to bed (silly six hour time difference).
Looks like hair rebraiding and some computery type stuff with
primitive_boy on my agenda later, along with some dinner dishes.
gossamer_gull called a little bit earlier but I missed the call. Wonder what she was up to tonight.
