Meal of the Beast

kjpepperTwo amusing observations:
1) I really like getting lunch at the Vermont Country Deli downtown. Especially when I get a sandwich and a large chocolate chip cookie because after tax, the total is $6.66. I've had a couple of superstitious cashiers there refuse to tell me the total for fear Satan himself would drop in for lunch or something. Dunno, I'd imagine that would be a selling point . . .
2) Anyone out there remember their high school physics? Was it one of Newton's laws that says "objects in motion tend to stay in motion; objects at rest tend to stay at rest?" anyone who knows, drop me a comment, because to my utter amusement today I found myself chanting that under my breath as I chugged uphill on my bike towards home this afternoon, and realized that I do that every time I have to do any laborious pedaling. God, I'm such a geek.
