Did they do a blood gas draw on your wrist?! If that is what it looks like - all I can say is: SAVAGES!!! those things hurt like a mofo!

I got a finger stick and since my veins in my elbows suck, they usually have to draw blood out of my wrist with a butterfly needle.

And yes, it hurts like a mofo.

My doctor had to draw blood out of my wrist not long after I got out of the hospital because my veins were scarred from all the blood draws they had to do to test my INR. (They were also having a hard time getting my INR stable). It hurt a lot. I wanted to play videogames at a friend's house after the appointment, but I had to take a pass on it.
