not at all. Some buildings have intensely interesting bottoms. The lobby of the Empire State building for one, or really the lobbies of most skyscrapers built in the Art Deco style/period. But I had forgotten that once you get 20 or so stories up in Manhattan, a whole different world emerges. You get entire tops of buildings that have fun things like gardens and pools and water towers and hawking equipment. I don't know... I think most people on the street don't think about the tops very much, which is a shame cause they really are quite interesting.
