Yeah, just go back and read this entry.

Welcome to my week. And this time, alas, no cookies. Only screaming.

In other news, what are people's thoughts on Google Chrome? I haven't had a chance to play with it enough to form a concrete opinion, but I'll have to agree with [livejournal.com profile] sydneycat that the fact that it migrates all page histories and passwords from firefox is pretty schway.

On one hand, it's nice to see competition in the browser market. On the other, I'm perfectly happy with Firefox and don't see any reason to migrate away from it. Has Adblock Plus been ported to Chrome yet?

NOTHING has been ported to chrome yet. i dont' thnk we'll see any significant addons for at least a month or two.

Haven't even installed Chrome itself yet. Like I said, I'm perfectly happy with FF, and I'm spoiled rotten by Adblock. After a bit of research, there seems to be an effort to launch a Chrome port project for it, but at the moment it still seems to be at the "is this even possible?" stage.

i'm trying to use it on my slow ass laptop, and it seems to be working ok. i'm missing some of the addons that i had on FF, but i am liking that its constructed completely out of velocity.

i'm thinking its nice for browsing and looking stuff up, but for heavy work i'm gonna stick with FF3 for now, even if its a memory hog.

It's got security holes like a motherfucker. But aside from that, not too shabby. I'll use it for casual browsing, but for anything that requires security/SEVEN PROXIES I'll stick to Firefox.

It's much quicker and will actually play YouTube videos all the way through, unlike FireFox. So far, easy win.
