Amazing how triumphant just showering is sometimes.

I got solid food today! um yeah, after all that drooling over steak? yeah, they brought me a plate of chicken and cut up carrots and mashed potatoes and I'm all like... eeek. It's food! Is it gonna make my bowels go sproing? *hide*

Room full of friends and movies and chaotic and hugs and being out of bed and hey my voice is coming back!

And yes, they're pretty confident that they will be springing me by BIRTHDAY TIME.

Um... I don't know... I've been doing lots of thinking and stuff, but haven't really scraped up the nets to really go into what my brain's been doing in the meantime... but there's been a lot of thinking and considering and talking to Jesus (okay, not jesus, but you know that fundamental nebulous where God supposedly exists in the human soul? yeah, whatever's sitting around listening to me when I feel like talking to that place).

I'll post about it later. ;)

I know what you mean about showering. Back when my ovaries first went bad it was a triumph just to be able to get up and wash my own hair (which really needed it by then, let me tell you.) Glad you're doing better. :x)

And yeah on the talking to the Great Whatever within. Why hugely traumatic events are one of the few things reliably able to get one there is beyond any common sense, but there it is.
