kjpepperIt used to be that my window would happen to be open and occasionally, a blue wind would come through it, smelling of trouble, adventure, speed metal, and the incongruous charm of a hot black man working the Hot topic pro look. When it came through it always left me smiling.
These days I leave my window open on purpose and look for it every day. It shows up a bit more frequently now, and I occasionally follow it wherever it might be blowing. This past year it's led to a whole lot of new friends, the opportunity to get to know some past acquaintances much much better, and more games I barely have time to play. It's also led to rediscovering bits of myself I'd completely forgotten about over the years, and even better learning that having a blue wind blow through your life every so often is a quite lovely thing indeed.
