In my humble opinion, one of the greatest things about the internet as we know it today is online package tracking. I swear, whenever I get tracking numbers for orders I sit at either the USPS or UPS websites and refresh every hour or something. Because the knowledge that my Sigg bottle has just departed Mesquite, TX enriches my life how exactly?

I don't, but I suspect my husband does. HE usually tells ME when the package I ordered is going to show up. My attitude is...meh...it will get here when it gets here.

I do, and I'm a crazy person, so the answer is yes :D Actually, I only check once or twice a day, cause they rarely update more than that. But. Yeah.

Every hour, no.
Every *day*, oh yes. It goes along with map geekery, methinks.
