Despite the irritation about its passing and the post election kerfuffle wherein several high profile people blamed the black community for passing it (not getting into that argument again though) I'm rather encouraged about the prospect of it being overturned, and pleasantly surprised that Conan the Republican has reversed his stance on it. I'm also kinda heartened by the nationwide outrage... makes me think that this whole gruling election year isn't just a fluke and most of the country anyway is indeed ready for a change. But again, I'd like to point out that being ready for a change means being willing to go out and make one, not just rest on our laurels and expect Obama to do all the work for us. Still trying to figure out what my personal contribution to changing the world is, but I tell you, I haven't been more inspired to make one than I have in the past week or so!
