Every so often the following poem pops back into my life.
My love, you are a river fed by many streams.
I bless all who have shaped you,
The lovers whose delights still dance patterns on your back,
Those who have carved your channels deeper, broader, wider,
Whitewater and backwater lovers,
Swamp lovers, sun-warmed estuary lovers,
Lovers with surface tension,
Lovers like boulders,
Like ice forming and breaking,
Lovers that fill and spill with the tides.
I bless those who have taught you
and those who have pleased you
and those who have hurt you,
All those who made you who you are.

lol, don't we have the "poetry doesn't have to rhyme" argument about once every two years or so?

ah. I see what you mean about the spacing. try using <pre> tags or non breaking spaces next time.

Huh, never heard of <pre> before. It's pretty much a necessity when dealing with Mayakovski ^^

<pre> is what you use if you want to include code in a web page, so it preserves spacing and line breaks (or lack thereof)
