I was fully intending to go put in some extra work time today, but as the day goes on and the rain/slush quotient gets progressively nastier, staying the fuck home and going first thing tomorrow seems like a much better option.

And now to dispense with my evening and night - a sink full of dishes and a cesspool of a room to clean up.

I did get out for like a minute this morning, as I had to pop down to the post office to pick up a package for da hizouse. (How college postal...) All I have to say is that German gingerbread is... THE SHIT!! (thanks,

timarok!) I got something else in the package too - see new lj icon. :)

The rest of the morning was dispensed with by watching

sundart wibble about her plane trip to Utah today - if all is well, she should be in the air right... about... now. :) Hopefully she will be done with the wibbling too. hey,

sundart's gone! PARTY! (jk) No what is probably more likely to happen is that I'll get freakishly inspired to clean things. It always happens when she goes away for more than like a couple of days. I suddenly have strange urges to rearrange furniture, and I patently hate moving furniture, as

beatgoddess and

sundart will both tell you. but I was curled up in bed this morning just after she left and wndering if we could swing the bed around ninety degrees if we shoved the bookcase down the wall some and moved the trunk. Maybe it's my subconscious kicking in to make sure that the space isn't a total hellpit when she gets back. Or something. :)

Well, shit. Now I've got the rest of the afternoon free more or less. Ah well. Time to get chore happy. *bop* *whistling happy tune*
