Nostalgic webcomics are nostalgic
May. 1st, 2009 10:28 amRandy Milholland wants to spend the weekend playing legos.
Someone in the comments of someposifeed posted a link to this ancient xkcd.
Never been much of a playpen ball person - growing up in the early 80s in New York City, Mom was kinda convinced there were needles, crack vials, rattlesnakes, roaches and/or germs in the bottom of ball pits and wouldn't let me play in one. (she may have been right about the latter two.) But I still have occasional dreams of blowing a whole lot of money on street plates and vintage LEGO Town/City sets and having it fill an entire room somewhere. I'm also think I might need to start virtually modelling stuff in LegoCAD again.
But today I have to work, and do errands for Dad. I don't know what this weekend holds besides a trip to the library.
I'm not okay with how fast time is going. It's been a week already since Dad went to the hospital. Where did that time go? I feel like I've barely gotten anything done this week.
Ever feel like your own life is leaving you behind?
