Go to the Invite a friend page and generate your codes, then go to Exchange Invite Codes. They generate a little coupon for you, I think it's like 25 or 50 cents per unused code. Then you go to the Livejournal store to buy your extra pics.

It won't let me generate any more codes. I'm sad as $3 isn't going to get me much. Maybe when I re-up I'll consider paying for more icons. *pout* I should have had a lot more codes than that...
