I've invented a game! it's called Horrify the Salad People at Hale & Hearty Soups with the most bizarre combination of salad components ever. So far the score is 1 - 1, as this is the second day in a row I've gotten one of their salads for lunch. Todays winning entry: mixed greens, carrots, feta, grilled chicken, bacon, raisins, sundried tomato, apple slices, orange slices, balsamic vinagrette dressing. I actually got the swishy boy making it up to wrinkle his nose. I WIN. And yes, the salad itself is pretty delicious, if somewhat on the salty side. Only problem is regular playing of this game will be expensive, so I'm thinking weekly treat. It's kind of terrifying how much I've been craving vegetables lately.

Other than scaring people, also managed to get to the library and trader joes despite earlier. I returned Iron Council even though I wasn't done with it - I'm a little burnt out on China Mieville still. Making up for this with an anthology of New Weird fiction, a sano ichiro novel and the book I'm reading for t_nr.

And now, hoping to get some work done and some laundry folded... maybe some DDR later. AND SOME ZYRTEC NAU - HOLY SHITBALLS MY EYES THEY BURNINATE.

i hear ya about the eyes. a coworker recommended these eye drops. they work great, but they're expensive; try to find the generic version @ target.
