kjpepper | heh, that was silly

Hem. I thought I had time to take a short nap before class today... technically I did - I crawled back into bed at 9, fully intending to wake up and be out of the house by 10. *snrrk* yeah right. Woke up at 10:15, panicked (it takes 20 min to walk to center campus usually). Luckily, my downstairs neighbor was leaving the house at the same time and offered me a ride. Also said she'd be willing to teach me to drive stick once I nail down how to drive normally. I should work on that actually - I'm just afraid to ask in winter because I'm squicky about asking people to trust me with their vehicles on snow and ice. Of course, this is new england. I'm going to have to learn to drive on this crap at some point. It can't that much worse than biking in this crap... can it? (don't answer that.)

Computer Vision looks like it's going to be fascinating. The professor looks and reminds me of a taller, more outgoing version of

birkwelch, which is seriously weird. Spent my lunch hour gleefully participating in the flame wa- er, discussion in

beatgoddess's livejournal about macs vs pcs and ipods vs nomads. buying a book I need for homework tomorrow, grabbing a little lunch, filling

beatgoddess' OneCard so she can print, figuring out why I suddenly lost my access to my campus email, blah de blah de blah.

I'm in charge of dinner tonight but I seriously have no ideas as to what to make. Soooo - I'm thinking chinesey goodness for all. Which is good because after my meeting with my advisor I can go home and go back to sleep. :) sleep is good.

hmm. Ought to get off the computer and pay some semblance of attention now. Heee, I love having classes in compy labs. :D
