kjpepperFor the second day in a row, I went home from campus along the Mill River. I took my time, carefully picking my way through the melting slush and the mud, test driving a sweet sad mix on my nomad, and enjoying the walk home.
It started to rain on my way, a light drizzle that three weeks ago would have been cold and depressing but today, with a surprisingly warm breeze underneath it caressing my face, it was oddly comforting. I leaned against a tree, watching it break the surface of the water and enjoyed one of the first true moments of peace I've had in recent memory.
