spoon flambé
Jan. 16th, 2004 11:41 amAnd for my next trick, I set the stove on fire.
Well, no not really. I put the kettle on becuase I wanted to make myself some hot cereal, walked away to pee, and came back to find that the plastic slotted spoon I used for the pasta last night was merrily filling the kitchen with acrid burny smell, not to mention burning rather belligerently. Luckily once the melted plastic hardened somewhat it was relatively easy to peel off and throw out.
*sigh* that's it, I'm going back to bed.
